Reddidn't is a LSPosed module that dynamically finds methods within the Reddit app responsible for displaying ads and blocks them.

Features

  • Ad Blocking:
    • Block Promoted Posts: Remove ads marked as "Promoted" from your feed.
    • Block Comment Ads: Hide ads above or inbetween comments.
  • Premium:
    • Premium Spoofing: Client-side premium perks (except no-ads)
  • Misc:
    • External Browser Redirect: Open links in external browser

Installation

Root | LSPosed

  1. Make sure your device is rooted and you have LSPosed installed.
  2. Download the latest release from the Releases page.
  3. Install the APK on your device.
  4. Enable the module in the LSPosed manager and make sure Reddit is enabled in the scope settings.
  5. Restart Reddit and Reddidn't.

Non-Root | LSPatch

No guarantee that this will work for you, the module was developed to be used with LSPosed in mind!

  1. Install Shizuku and LSPatch (MUST USE JINGMATRIX'S LSPATCH FORK, OFFICIAL WON'T WORK).
  2. Download the latest release from the Releases page.
  3. Install the APK on your device.
  4. Give LSPatch Shizuku permissions.
  5. In LSPatch, patch the Reddit app: select LOCAL while patching, DO NOT INTEGRATE and don't embed Reddidn't.
  6. Install the patched Reddit.
  7. Long press on Reddit in LSPatch and select "Module Scope".
  8. Select Reddidn't from the list.
  9. That's it. Restart Reddit and ads should be gone!

(Reddidn't will still stay "module not activated", ignore that. Toggling off ad blocking features in Reddidn't won't do anything, ads will always be blocked as long as Reddidn't is selected in the scope in LSPatch)

🚀 Reddidn't v1.1.0 Release

This release has a different signature, so you may have to uninstall the old version and re-install the new one.

This update brings significant code refactoring for hooking, minor bug fixes and UI improvements.

I plan to focus on adding more features apart from ad-blocking in the next release.
